Dog gear storefront

Shopping by the shape of a dog’s day

Fetchwell hero: headline Gear for every part of the dog’s day beside a 24-hour dial marking walk, chew, dinner and sleep

Background

Fetchwell makes just four pieces of dog kit built to survive daily life—a leash with bag clip, a slow-wear chew, a stoneware bowl and a bolster bed—mainly for first-time dog owners in the city.

Challenge

With a small range, the shop can’t lean on breadth. It needed a story that ties the four products together and nudges people from one item toward the full set.

Solution

A 24-hour dial anchors the hero and maps the four products to four moments in a dog’s day: walk, chew, dinner, sleep. Each moment gets a screen with everyday copy on why it matters, and the page ends by bundling all four as “the whole day, one box.”

A timeline as product story

07:00 walk, 12:30 chew, 18:00 dinner, 22:00 sleep—the times are both the visual motif and the chapter structure.

Copy with a personality

Lines like “It will end up under the sofa. That’s where it lives now.” replace spec lists and make owners smile.

From one item to the box

People can start with “whichever one your dog wrecks first,” and the bundle at the end picks up the follow-on purchase.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we’re asked most about this project’s design choices and delivery.

How does a shop with only four products hold together?

With a small range you can’t win on breadth, so a story has to tie the products together. Four moments in a dog’s day—walk, chew, dinner, sleep—map to four products, one screen each, so the page reads as a dog’s whole day.

Why a 24-hour dial in the hero?

The dial turns “a day” into a shape people grasp instantly. The times 07:00, 12:30, 18:00 and 22:00 are both the visual motif and the page’s chapters, so visitors know what the shop sells and how it’s organized before they scroll.

Why is the copy so conversational?

Dog owners know exactly where toys end up. A line like “It will end up under the sofa. That’s where it lives now.” earns a smile that specs never will, and it’s easier to remember and share.

What’s the fastest way to launch a small pet brand storefront?

We usually use Shopify with a custom theme, and the bundle runs on the platform’s built-in bundling, with no extra development. Once content and visuals are settled, launch typically takes 3 to 4 weeks.
